The government has published guidance on what those travelling abroad from England and those travelling to England from another country during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic are required to do. 

In the case of travelling abroad from England, which will apply to workers taking their annual leave to holiday overseas, the guidance covers what they need to do both before they travel and when they return to England. This includes checking the rules for the country or territory they’re travelling to, finding out what they need to do when they return to England and booking any tests or quarantine hotel packages they need.  The guidance also covers exemptions to the travel and entry rules for work, medical or compassionate reasons.
