The National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Regulations 2024 will come into force on 1 April 2024. They will amend the National Minimum Wage Regulations 2015 to remove the current exemption from the minimum wage for live-in domestic workers, such as au pairs and nannies. From 1 April 2024, such workers will therefore need to be paid at least the minimum wage for their hours worked.
