Is there a light at the end of the COVID tunnel?

There was commentary in the national press today that was cautiously optimistic that a number of COVID vaccines will be available for distribution early next year. This was underlined by confirmation that 40m doses are ring-fenced for the UK.
Hopefully, those vulnerable to infection, and those in the front line, care and NHS workers, will be the first to receive the vaccine.
Added to which, treatment protocols are improving survival rates…
In which case, can we look forward to an easing of the present COVID disruption in 2021?
There is a well-worn cliché that “everything changes”. And evidence would seem to support this point of view. We are in need of that elusive light at the end of the tunnel.
In the meantime, it's batten down the hatches and support clients during the winter months. Next year we should be able to dust off strategies to re-establish income streams and repair damaged cash-flow. It may also be prudent to use the experience of 2020 to encourage clients to add fat to the bones of their businesses. Just in case…
