The government has published an employer guide on the new right to statutory parental bereavement leave and pay, covering eligibility, notice requirements for taking leave and evidence for pay, record-keeping obligations and getting help with pay. There is also a link to new Form SBPB1 to give to employees if they do not qualify for statutory parental bereavement pay.
