Following the introduction into Parliament of the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Bill, the government has now launched two consultations on the implementation of minimum service levels for fire and rescue services and for ambulance services during periods of strike action. The consultations close on 3 May 2023 and 9 May 2023 respectively.

The Bill itself has completed its passage through the House of Commons and is currently before the House of Lords.
